Shit is rippling through the web. My client's web has been doing odd shit like dropping VPN and disengaging pdf files after they have been open for 5 minutes. It sucks because some of the shit I need is sitting on a server in Japan that drops in and out like it's being used as a competition game server. And the company has less than 200 people on the planet.

Of course part of the problem is their reliance on SharePoint and Zoom. Zoom seems to be easily hacked. This year I have heard "Dick", "Pussy" "Fuck" and "Cunt" more times on Zoom than in all the teleconferences I have ever had going back to the early 90s. My boss was called a "homosexual motherfucker" by an unknown zoom hacker. I laughed so hard it's amazing I still have a job.

To top things off, the document control security condom (wrapper), has been hacked!!!! It affects PDF files and PPTX files (No problems with PPT files).


For my own stuff, I use all the free media storage I can find. Using redundant copies as unlisted postings Youtube has been a great way to get my stuff around the planet without paying for it. People rarely type in URLs these days. Just click links. Which are conveniently thrust into their face!

I'm starting to like the 21st century.



Oh and I have had 3 security patches this week.

I have a request for posting pictures. If you use the Image Icon to upload photos and preferably you do, can you try to remember to fill out the Description(Alt) field with a brief description of the photo.

This helps those using assistive screen readers such as the visually impaired among other disabilities as well as improve our standing with Search Engines.

New Posts replaced Pages in the Navigation Bar. Pages referenced the same page as our Treefort Page, so we didn't lose anything.
