I see it that I don't like some people very much but I still love them because they're beautiful fragments of Divine like everyone else, and help make the collective :-)

Yes, it came back, but since the vote was so close, Lode created 2.0 styles that don't have it :-)

Pretty much the perfect solution.

The only thing I dislike about it is that people on 1.0 styles can still like my posts, and so think they're acknowledging me, but they're not because I can't see it. But that's okay, don't really care.

I have the feeling half of the forum does not know their likes aren't viewable to others who have a different kind of theme selected. I don't think everyone selected the theme that suits them best. I noticed Deidre wondering something about the likes in that regard!

I can’t like posts but I can see through notifications when someone likes my posts. I was too afraid to ask about it though as it’s a sensitive subject ‘round here. Lol

Deidre you're using a 2.0 style. You have the choice of turning off notifications for likes, and it's like they don't exist at all.. or you can go to the bottom of the site and change your style to one of the 1.0 versions, and you will have the button back.

Just be aware that liking my haikus is pointless ;-) I'm 2.0 and cannot see them.

Same. But if they don't care enough about it to get upset, I say shhh leave them on 2.0 and in a few months they won't even remember the days of the button ;-)
