    Ethereal Artworks

This one I can't particularly say I "like". I wouldn't hang it in my living room.

i actually do like it, but i wouldn't hang it in my living room either. i would try to walk through the room in the dark one night and my landlord would find my body wrapped up in it a few weeks later when someone starts to complain about the smell.

Lucifer looks a little like Patrick Stewart.

What did he do, fly through some telephone wires?

Yes, it's a fairly modern work. And yes, Lucifer is trapped in utility lines. The message eludes me, but it's kind of ironic for such an old being to be snagged by a human creation of any sort.

The message eludes me, too, unless "technology" of sorts is posed as a liberator. I guess more so what it seems to imply is that this world is such a mess even Lucifer would get tangled up in it.

Or... communication with each other leads us to see God in one another and so defeats Lucifer.
but it looks like he will have cut off a few calls so i don't know

The wires could be metaphorical. Presenting themselves as the inner self that we are all tangled in and are the ultimate "enemy". Uncontrollable feelings and social conditioning.
I hope one day that I make a piece as big as that. I have an idea about it. So far I only have attempted a painting but it didn't get me anywhere. It needs to be bigger!!!

                    Now that's a profound take!
