I have noticed that ladies today seem to have "thunder thighs" and fat asses much more than in the past. Is it my imagination or is this a trend? Do men today like their women bigger?Personally I prefer thinner waif like ladies above their more muscular compatriots.What do you think?

Not in disagreement the average american is fatter now. But perhaps a pop rock concert isn't the best place to see that? Not sure though, also thinking about recent festivals in my own country (where people on average are also heavier than in the 80s)Comment

I see about the same amount of various sizes as ever. At least, I haven't noticed anything.
I think more people go to the gym and work out than ever before. It's all part of this positivity movement.Comment

Childhood obesity is at nearly 20% in the US.
I don't recall ever seeing a McDonald's commercial with fat people in it. They are always slim, attractive, young and healthy looking...and smiling. The McDonald's in Mayfield, KY is nothing like this.
