Barbour coats

I have owned a couple of these but I did not know the name of them I thought that they originated in Australia.... the first one I bought has so much wax on it it was like wearing a cardboard box so I washed it and ruined a washing machine but the cut was awesome after that...
pretty sure both coats perished in my two fires.... I think I remember something about the good ones using beeswax...

I used to use beeswax to tune electric pianos. At the end of the key is a magnet mounted to a spring that vibrates in front of a coil. Each key has this. If it's really off you can add a drop of melted lead and sand it down until the note is nearly perfect. Then drip a drop of beeswax on it and scrape it down until the note is perfect according to the stroboscope. Beeswax lasts for decades.
