    Carnivorous Plants

This is my second foray into carnivorous plants. The first try failed hard since I had no idea what I was doing, didn't read up on the necessary care, and lived in a basement with very little sunlight.

So this is try Forum I just got this one, so hopefully I manage to care for it properly this time. This is a Pinguicula gigantea. Commonly known as the butterworts, these leaves have sticky glands and digestive glands. You can see the first fungus gnat it caught in my care on there. It's still struggling to try and get away but I think its fate is sealed. Soon enough, the digestion process shall begin

Oooh.. how's it going? I remember I bought a flytrap once but it died pretty fast. I didn't have a clue what I was doing and I think they were mostly being sold as a novelty. I didn't think to actually research care; I was a lot younger.
