    Gardening gone wrong

This year I built 2 new boxes for gardening, and cleared out some land for a grove of berry bushes. I’m gearing up for the Biden food shortage that’s coming our way.

Only problem is my labels I made for my plants either went missing or turned illegible with the ink wiping off.

Now I don’t know what the hell im growing. I can’t distinguish my kale from my broccoli from eggplants to pumpkins to zucchini

    Label your grows! Plan ahead

use a decent permanent marker, silly :-)

but idk, this way seems fun. it will be a guessing game. how long before you can tell what something is.

i'm not doing any growing really, this year. the field needs too much work to make it useable. i have rhubarb in a big container and cannabis in pots. i'll start to prepare some space for next year though.

some of the best sketches drawing art work that i've created & received best compliments on was my marker pen (mostly sharpies) & other pens ink biro etc etc i suchronistically been reflecting feeling very nostalgic about yup it be nice to feel more inspired to like i used to back in childhood & teenage years & 20s etc etc had more easily (..it seemed back then just easier...)natural inspiration vibes BUT at this moment in time as things are miraculously (with career) going ok (..i will explain more in my wins, wish.... thread eventually)...

i'm struggling to keep this story concise lol anyways i literally in past few days felt inspired to buy some sharpie marker pens when i saw some in one of my fav paper pens arts stationary shop in town after work💕

cheers for awesomely mentioning 'sharpie' that also helps inspire more motivation to try to do some more new inspiring cool creations🎨

May yer gardening go back to being right six.

On the Sunnyside of things, at least you've got the grows working, I'll be dropping belt sizes during the food drought.

Although I do have some lovely neighbors that bring me gifts from their pasture time to time.

I swear something about cherry tomatoes........😋

i eat like 3 tomatoes a day when they're in season lol. Only from farmers markets, never from the grocery store

also squash. Yellow squash has been my favorite food for as long as I can remember.
but when I went to the produce market the other day they were all out of squash. Has the Biden Squash shortage already started?

Just started eating the potatoes, leeks and carrots. All container grown. Used to have open ground now live in an apartment but plenty room out back so have adapted accordingly. Did have lettuce and spring onion and strawberries but they are finished. Have betroot just about ready.
We both have a small pension and no other income so having free veg at our disposal is a no brainer!
Example - the other day I made a stew/soup with carrot, leek, potatoes and lentils slightly curried served with home made bread toasted and buttered. Cost? A handful of lentils.

Duh.......meant to comment to OP. We always had a notebook with wee plans drawn of what was planted where when we used to use open ground.

That’s cool I have an admiration for apartment farmers. Especially since it’s an added challenge. Do you have a balcony for all this, or is it entirely indoors?
