I stumbled across these cartoons a few years ago. They were commissioned by the US Department of Defense during WWII for training and morale building. They were produced by Warner Brothers animation, voiced by Mel Blanc (Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck etc) scored by Chuck Jones (Classic WB composer) and scripted by Theodore (Dr. Seuss) Geisell. Not to shit on the US Military but at the time the standards for admission to get into the armed forces were kinda lax by todays standards and there's a kind of simple brilliance to them:
