    God and Possibility

What could possibly be stranger than humanity? And could we face such an epoch?

Space is already such a thing. It inspires our imaginations. Just as it inspired the imaginations of...the others.

I wonder what it would take to make company out of xenomorphs. What if you could lure one into a trap and train it to be a housewife.

Is God impossible? The only things that are possible are those that are real. Is God real, or, possible?

      I don't know what a xenomorph is.

I'd like to see some bands start writing space-science-technology inspired songs.

God is real and possible as far as I know.

A xenomorph is the alien from Alien.

Oh. This is the dumbest I've felt all day.

Based on the Alien movies, I don't think Xenomorphs can be domesticated. I've never seen them be anything but hostile towards human life unless they have seeded a human host which inevitably kills the human anyways. However, I have not seen the Alien vs Predator movies, so perhaps their behavior changes when in conflict with other alien species.

As far as God as a possibility, there are certain descriptions of God which I would consider in conflict with reality and impossible while other descriptions that seem compatible with reality and possible.

Yeah but what I'm really getting at is the weird nature of truth and what is possible. God is in a unique position, as a concept.

          What's considered weird seems subjective.

Everything could possibly be seen or experienced as stranger than humanity. Take ants for example.

Space is already such a thing. It inspires our imaginations. Just as it inspired the imaginations of...the others.

It would be like keeping a captive bear and treating it as a pet. You would likely get more positive feedback from the captive bear though. Company doesn't seem the right term :P

Why do we invent so many mythical creatures, then?

We have a weird perspective of anything that's not human. Like if something doesn't look like us it won't be a person. We have enough trouble with that just given different races, much less aliens or mythical creatures.

I kind of think xenomorphs are people, too. You'd just have to walk on eggshells to keep them from eating you. For some reason I think they enjoy knicknacks and antiques.

I agree in general, but not about xenomorphs. They're monsters in the most accurate sense of the word. If you watched Prometheus you know they were fabricated to destroy other species (perhaps mainly or solely us). Well, actually they were an accident when the material that was supposed to do that got mixed with other genetic material.
