The dark lord, so our universe will know peace again at last

Invocation starts at 7pm, acolytes have to bring the snacks.

Why you gotta take a nice thread and ruin it with your nonsense asmo.

It can be easily ignored Sorry, this is what I thought of at first when I saw manifestation :P

    Book sales :-)

The thing with manifesting is that I totally believe it, while remaining indifferent to whether I am proved wrong or right. If the things I intend to bring into existence don't happen, no big deal, and I believe taking actual steps towards making things happen matter, too.

My personal feeling is it works best when the intention is tied to what you want to be able to give the world. Like wanting to be rich because it'll put me in a better position to help others, as opposed to wanting to be rich to buy myself things.

Not that I wouldn't buy myself things, too :-)

I at first read a term like manifesting something as demanding or invoking it from the universe. But I guess it also means slowly but steadily working on it through planning and practical means..

Din Djarin yes. My feeling is that our thoughts do affect things, more than we realise. But I don't believe sitting back and "manifesting" a million dollars while doing nothing productive or helpful is going to work. I think it's like being in a big river of reality made of thought, and you can just get swept along by whatever thoughts *happen* to you, or you can become the observer of your thoughts and choose them more consciously, steering what part of the river you want to be in, and when it forks, which direction you want to go down.

And I want to become powerful, so I don't have to deal with munchkins' police sirens.

I've been pretty good at manifesting things. Kinda happens effortlessly a lot of times. My life can appear like a fictional dream to some. Doesn't mean you don't work hard for it. Effortless effort.

You really got to want it, believe in it, and seize the opportunity when it prevents itself. How far are you willing to go? What scarifies are you willing to make?

For me i would say growth as a person. More like a need than a want. Don't want it but deep down i feel like i need to grow. Its more like i stumbled upon my own bullshit a few times and realize i'm not where i feel i should be. I reflect upon the world and it feels important.

I relate. I feel like I manifested my life here before I really even looked into what manifesting is, just by making decisions that felt right, even though it was unclear where they would lead.
More than one person has called it "brave", when I wouldn't have put it that way. But they just mean that they wouldn't have done the same thing without more security.

There's a favourite quote of mine that goes something like... Being brave isn't the absence of fear, it's feeling the fear and doing it anyway"

Yes, I like that quote too.

But when people call me brave, it's often for things I felt no fear about doing :-) so, exactly, absence of fear.. not bravery.

Could be the person projecting onto you, something that they would never do
