Who carries a wallet anymore? It feels like carrying a rock in your pocket.
I always thought most others (esp guys somehow) carry ridiculous big wallets, like they're either large by themselves or stuffed so full with all kinds of stuff they become too big to be real handy..
So I have a thin one with only the bare neccesities in it (driver license, a few cards and some money, preferable paper)
Wouldn't feel comfy without a wallet though..!

Yeah I do know a few guys who carry a wallet so stuffed full of random crap that it's basically cube shaped. Usually the same guys you hear coming a hundred feet away because their 50 keys are jingling on their belt loop.
If I'm going somewhere I need money, I'll just grab a couple 20s, or a credit card, and that's about it. Even my car keys, I usually find a place to hide because they annoy me sitting in my pocket. My phone is the only thing I keep on me a majority of the time when I'm not at home.
Given the amount of crime in cities, it might be more advantageous to carry a rock than a wallet.

When I get a new wallet, I turn the old one into a dummy. I add a few dollars of real cash for appearances, but all of the credit cards are the fakes I get as junk mail. Then I print a pic of someone from the web from the 80s. If I get robbed, that's the wallet they get. Has worked exactly 1 time.
Lol... I do not keep money or card in my wallet. I keep business cards, etc. In it.
Important stuff goes up front.
Guessing most pickpockets don't see the contents of their grab until they are out of sight. They're gonna be pissed when they see what I didn't give them.
I did catch a pair of teen guys once while I took out my debit card to use @ walmart, they had a cell phone, trying to capture my card info. I had a feeling, turned and saw them.. they smiled, looked at each other and left.

I really relate to the annoying feeling of having too much stuff in my pockets, not only for how it can physically feel but also out of fear i lose one of those things :P
Hence i generally take as little as possible with me, so def not much coin, the bare minimum of keys and when going out at night with friends i conveniently leave my phone at home (everybody else has one on them anyway so as long as i don't lose everyone im good lol)
Edit: so basically my wallet is thin and remains thin because it generally carries like 4 cards (of which one is my drivers license) and some paper money.
