    How beautiful is the sun?!

    Gorgeous.

The European Solar Orbiter probe captures images just 77 million km from the Sun's surface.

It's so wonderful. Imagine if we couldn't see anything. We would see in shadows. Or invent light bulbs in the dark. But I'm just a fan of sunlight. I'm sorry. It makes things grow in splendid ways.

Some people are allergic to it, though, and die if exposed to direct sunlight. But even they are special citizens of the sun.

when i was out on the boat last sunday, there was the exact right amount of cloud cover that, combined with my sunglasses, allowed me to actually look directly at the sun for a while without it hurting. it was pretty cool, just since that's something that's always there but you can never really look at.

We would have a tough time with our Shadow Selfies! Wait...with no sun, we'd all be dead. ???

Maybe it's why he always has the stank face. He can't see anymore.

No sun staring in Connecticut on Saturday. It was almost cloud-free. Hartford got to 94 F/34 C. The heat advisory is gonna be "fun" on Sunday. (Dew point is going up.)

But without the sun, we wouldn't see the moon : )

But Irmin's retinas melt in direct sunlight.

That comment tickled me. I'm not a fan of sweating in the heat, but as a life giving energy I love it!
The last couple of evenings the sun where I am had such a nice orange colour to it.
