    Third thumb technology

    I really want to try one of these!
    I wonder how the world will change if this took off, and in a hundred years everyone just feels it's totally natural to have a third thumb.

    That's really cool, how intuitively it came to people. I was just thinking about what we could do with another appendage, I was thinking a full arm but a thumb would be just as good I would think? A whole arm would just be showing off lol

    I'm a small time hoarder. Everywhere I go in my house, I take like 15 things with me and drop sometimes. Would love an extra thumb to see if it would help me or if it would encourage me to be more reckless lol

      I wonder how it would add to climbing, if it's strong enough. I wonder how expensive they are.

        I wonder if anyone would think an able bodied person is like appropriating disabled culture by using a fake limb to gain an even larger advantage than usual LOL

          And yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if someone, somewhere, took offence.

        If robotic arms etc. develop in complexity we might have a robotic monkey tale in a few generations: which would definitely add to climbin

            Have you heard of trans-abled? There apparently are people in the world who think they were meant to be disabled and will purposely maim themselves so that they can fit this vision of themselves having a disability

              a thumb would help, but a third arm would allow you to totally step up your hoarding game to the next level.

              a third arm, with an extra thumb on each arm? you'd be buried.
