    Atari

I remember when Asteroids came out. My friends parents paid 66$ for it. Expensive

Never played it on atari but I played it on PC, was pretty fun for what it was.

It used to be my go to game in the arcade when I was younger and then my uncle bought a whole asteroids machine and put it in the basement. That was awesome cause it didn’t cost a quarter anymore.
back to Atari which was huge at the time . It was fun, crazy how archaic the graphics are compared to today’s video games

i didn't discover video games until the NES came out (i think i was 4 when we got ours, so it was just a matter of age). the atari era games are fun to play for a few minutes at a time, but i don't think they hold up as well as subsequent generations. of course, i'm sure the lack of nostalgia factor plays into that too.

I got my Atari in '82 I think. My bro and I would stay up playing till morning some nights. I was like, how can anyone ever get tired of this, lol.

Adventure was my favorite game, but also liked Pitfall (that was and Activision cartridge, I think).

Our first console was an Atari

We had Pole position, some WW1 flying game, a game where you were a Flacon or something flying in Egypt. Some weird alien invasion game, a submarine war game and a few others.

It was pretty cool for the time, then we got a NES.

I had this cool atari tank game, but very soon after I got, I played with it with a friend who spazed out on the controls and broke them. I think he should have replaced it but he didn't.

            I have not forgotten.

Missile Command, Yar's Revenge, Defender and Vanguard were some other cartridges we owned. The Pac-Man for Atari sucked. I thought Raiders Of The Lost Ark was crap too.

I've played a lot of terrible versions of Pac-Man. For a game that really requires precise controls, there have been a lot of versions released with really sloppy controls.

That's NES. You're thinking of Hangly Man.
