I mostly like the racing games. They had gotten pretty interactive. What’s your favorites?

back during the glory days of arcades (aka my childhood) it was a tossup between the simpsons and xmen. as an adult, i love those bars they have in the city where you can play old arcade games for free as long as you're drinking beer. i tend to wander around and sample all the games when i'm in one of those, and i'm not sure what i would consider a favorite.

There's a couple places that are like half bar, half arcade here but we don't really have any pure arcades.
All the games I enjoyed at arcades are probably 15+ years old now.
I enjoyed:- Time Crisis III,
- Mortal Kombat series,
- Street Fighter series,
- House of the Dead II,
- The Simpsons,
- X-Men,
- Crazy Taxi
- Terminator 2
- Sunset Riders
- Metal Slug
- Golden Axe
Mostly First Person Shooters, Fighting Games and Side Scrollers. I noticed I don't have any sports games on there, definitely a difference between Arcade and Console.

Ah yea. I mean, I think it was Crusin USA or Crusin World that I used to find and play, but Super Mario Brothers was the main go to for a long time, because we didn't have Nintendo growing up. Also played a bit of Mortal Kombat. And just other random ones, like this shooting game (can't even remember what I was shooting. Deer?? Sad really, but holding the gun was fun.)

I was born a couple of months before my dad shipped off to Vietnam, so my mom would stay with his parents a few weeks, then her's a few weeks and so forth. When we were with her parents my granddad would take me to his favorite saloon and set me on the bar in my, whatever those things are called, "Moses Basket" or whatever. His codger friends would get a kick out of it. I don't remember, naturally, but I've been told the story repeatedly by now.
