When I first discovered HF it was 13years ago back when I used to live in North Carolina USA I was in my mid 20s just completed my Fine Arts degree (BFA) at Virginia Commonwealth University ♥ and was had to come back to North Carolina to move back in with family because I was not able to find any new work in Richmond VA. I missed my stoner hippie life in Richmond VA so moving to NC I did not have any stoner connects to buy weed (420) anymore: (
So to look for stoner 420 friendly new people in NC I thought I'd look online and that's how I found HF. The move to USA was always temporary and I eventually returned to UK around my 28th year I moved back home to UK sooner before my parents (they were tied up in their jobs in NC) by applying for a 1 & half year MA course at University of Sunderland ♥ in Sunderland, Tyne & Wear, UK
I literally used HF only as a way everywhere I'd move to help find stoner friends and it was only over the course of 13years that I would hangout more & actually read the HF posts and post a bit.
Over the many years of hanging out on HF I enjoyed chatting mostly hanging out chatting with awesome HF folks such as Audiogen & DrBonzai (Doc) rest in peace? and many other old school HF folks♥ Doc was a permanent HF mod in awesome HF chatroom♥
It was when Doc sadly passed away that the HF chatroom lost its awesomeness chillaxed fun vibes. For many years there were many times when I would be not log into HF for over a year or two because I was busy with my career & personal life so I'd just visit once in a while.
For most of the 13years on HF I always admired reading all the charasmatic intelligent posts by many awesome HF talented writers♥
When I lost my recent work a year ago back in 2020 that has been the longest time I'd been jobless due to the horrible pandemic and lockdown restriction it is the longest time I have been jobless: ( in my entire career so far so being stuck bored at home I'd had plenty of time hangout more on HF in 2020 and started posting alot more but it was sadly during the course of cringe horrible 2020 most of the awesome talented old school HF folks were unecessarily getting banned by the end of 2020 & now in 2021 there is no more talented worthy writing happening over there anymore:-/
At the start of 2021 I was actually made a HF mod (HipForums guide) and I did not like it and overall was very annoyed and fed up with the sad reality of knowing that in 2020 all the awesome old school HF writers had been either unecessarily banned or just left.
If I'm going to hangout on an online writing forum I want to be reading good quality intelligent charasmatic written posts so I'm happy to join talented creative TF very happy to read good quality awesome inspiring creative writing: )
This is the only souvenir of my existence of being at HF I recently searched over there my profile is now completely gone the only remains of me ever being on HF are if any of my posts were quoted.

I love that differences of opinions are permitted... and that I dont have to word things so carefully. I was surprised I lasted as long as I did for the second go at it. Lol. I didn’t bother going back or even trying for about a year.

Beach Ball Bitch I agree I think differences of opinions should be permitted on any social online writing forum if there are no diverse differences then it's just going to end up very boring? I do feel people should be respectful when publically posting on any social media platform and not go around posting horrible offensive attacks on others. Overall it should not have to be a cringe scenario of walking on eggshells there should be healthy chillaxed debate which should not lead to censorship just because someone is unhappy with someone's opinion that should not lead to unecessary bannings.

I knew the writing was on the wall for me at the other site. After many of my posts kept getting hard-deleted so no other mod could see them. At that point I had to concoct my posts carefully to avoid it. This was only the beginning.
Later on I saw lots of others getting purged for not being part of the new in-crowd that had taken over. Of course Zen gave those ones preferential treatment because they were all paid subscribers.
The tipping point for me was when the favoritism toward Candy’s gang and the Socialist crowd got blatantly obvious and unfair. So I was banned for defending Kyle Rettenhouse, calling Zen a coward, and calling out a few others on their bullshit.
I laughed out loud in satisfaction when I got my banishment.Comment

as far as i know i haven't been banned from hf since probably 2003. which is weird, i actually tried to get banned back in the '09 shitstorm and all that happened was a bunch of my posts disappeared. i guess i'm just too good of a poster to dump.
this time around, i just stopped going there because it wasn't fun anymore. pretty much everyone i liked had stopped going there, voluntarily or otherwise, and most of the exceptions come both here and there anyway. plus my life is pretty busy these days and i just don't have time for multiple forums.
