I never trust Wikipedia after I noticed it says Kuljeet Randhawa was born Jan 29. Where everywhere else says her birthday was Jan 1. Someone isn't telling the truth.
Most wiki stuff can be edited by others. So it doesn't really make it a good thing for info.
It gets continual checks and reviews as well. Wikipedia is very good for initial info, but if its important or needs to get verified you use better sources. It's a superb place to start a quest for knowledge

I'm ready to snooze my great friends, we can pick up where we left off tomorrow ?? I'm sure I'll have to answer many comments from the creeper and Priscilla and maybe a few more??
but please. can we not have this in every thread. "a true meeting of minds thumbs up"
not really necessary. not breaking a rule.. but not necessary. you have plenty of Pit threads to make digs at Asmo.
let's not bring that energy into every thread. it starts to look selfish.
in return for getting a pretty free reign on the free speech front, it seems not much to ask for you to respect non-Pit threads as being non-Pit threads.
Why would that mean you don't trust them? I've had a few discussions about whether they actually need the money or not.. I donate the $2 most years. Whether they need it or not, I believe in the concept. Wikipedia is the first place I go for basic information on most things.. A few dollars a year is nothing. So many websites pay for themselves with advertising. I hate advertising a lot more than I hate being asked for $2, which I can always refuse to give and keep using the site anyway : )
The concept is how I think humans should behave. All co-creating things. If you can't help write it, help pay for it. Some people help write it. Of course there are flaws but I find it weird when people focus on those, and dismiss the whole of Wikipedia because it isn't 100% infallible.
It's got a citation, so it's not all my words. It's actually got a couple citations but one of them must have been put there by someone else and I don't think they intended to put it there. lol
Recreational
MDMA is often considered the drug of choice within the rave culture and is also used at clubs, festivals, and house parties.[10] In the rave environment, the sensory effects of music and lighting are often highly synergistic with the drug. The psychedelic amphetamine quality of MDMA offers multiple appealing aspects to users in the rave setting. Some users enjoy the feeling of mass communion from the inhibition-reducing effects of the drug, while others use it as party fuel because of the drug's stimulatory effects.[32]
...I don't know where that first citation came from but I really enjoyed the book I cited that ends the paragraph. It was written by an author who is a music journalist from your country named Simon Reynolds.

Jessica Nobody ever gets my sarcasm. I gladly give as much money as I can to Wiki, and they speak the truth in ways most social media only pretends to do. I see them as the voice of the people. Real people. And I support that with heart and money big time :-)
