    Tenses Of Weedeat

What's the past tense of weedeat? I hate weedeated, I think it should be weedate. "I weedate around the garden", for example. Or, "I have weedeaten the around the damn sidewalk." I guess a country bumpkin would say "weedet."

I dealt with this dilemma @ a party a long time ago.
Someone mentioned having weed-eated (?) earlier in their busy day resulting in sunburn..
We were all pretty well buzzed so the convo unexpectedly blossomed into a bona-fide subject esp. among the ladies.
I think it evolved into a pube-trimming discussion lol.
