Some studies that I'm skeptic of (but see evidence might be accurate), have shown that porn stars on average die at age mid thirties. At least the females do. The male porn stars tend to live longer and last longer in the industry as well, and I think that has something to do with slut-shaming.
I have said it before, but in case a guest is reading: Sluts and studs are the same thing just different anatomy , so if you glorify a guy being good at sex, then glorify a female for being skilled at the same thing. I'm not thrilled about anyone having many partners, but double standards piss me off, so if you are going to glorify one gender for a behavior, glorify the other for the same behavior.
I think that has a lot to do with suicide among porn stars.
Actually, the most intelligent female I ever met (in my opinion) was in the adult entertainment industry and she also knew the stupid Bible really well and was very insightful about the Apostles, prophets, and especially Saint Paul. I do assume the majority of porn stars have a drug addiction. If it isn't an addiction, it is still something they do recreationally. It just strikes me as a lifestyle that requires the sacrificing of a lot including dignity and reputation. Family members may disown you for it, and it has bad stigma. This can further fuel the need for drugs.
It's a vicious cycle. Most of the porn stars I like died in 2017 2018. I stopped keeping track after that, but they were dropping dead from drug overdoses and occasional suicide. A lot of drug overdoses are actually suicides but people don't want to list it as that, or sometimes it cannot be proven.
