Sooo, I walk through a park that is quite natural in many places with animal paths.
Day 1: I am walking my dog along the regular route and there is a lady with a dog off the leash,.. I ask is your dog ok, she replies “oh yes he loves other dogs, very friendly.” So we make a little small talk for less than 30 seconds with my dog sitting next to me. Her dog comes over and attacks my dog, my dog is trying to get away and going behind me as this dog continues the attack. So I said I thought you said he was ok, and walked away after her dog was under control by the owner and she hit the dog with the leash.
So I am out of the park heading home, she pulls up next to me and says, oh you live in the area, I said yes... she says me too, gives me her address And I don’t give her mine, just a vague and general location which was not accurate.
Day 2: the following day at a later time I was walking the path with my dad... I see the same lady without her dog, I stop and said... “oh you aren’t with your dog today?” She replies with a smile “oh yes, he is off in the woods, I just have to pull out his treats, and yell treats” as she proceeds to do just that. The dog comes barrelling out of the forest and attacks my dog again, he ended up with her dog slobber all around his back, thankfully this dog could not get through his main of hair. The woman grabs her leash and hits him several times on the nose with the metal end of the leash. My dad started to pet that dog after the womAn had hit him, trying to defuse the situation... he is talking to the lady and he says, “maybe Your dog hates white dogs”. The lady who was black got mad and my dad said, “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it as you are taking it..” apologized at least 4 times. The lady left angry.
Day 3: the following day I was walking alone And I see that lady with her dog on the leash... I walk off 15 feet from her and said hello, and continued, “you know, I was reading online and sometimes dogs don’t like certain breeds due to past experiences, small dogs don’t like big dogs, etc.” I knew this to be true from other dogs I have had.
she starts to yell at me”you people, you white people”. I guess anyone lighter than her is white people.”you people are the problem in this country. Anyone who there has been any conflicts with. Although she was the one with issues. You people need to leave... etc.” Her tirade went on for 5 minutes. The entire time I kept saying, “you need to stop“ over and over again. I had not even been the one to say what offended her. Finally, I said, “wow, really, you white people... You’re racist”. She stopped and ran off, as I yelled racist at her one more time. There was a man who was a middle eastern man on the path who had stopped and listened to all this... as I started to walk by, he said, wow what was all the about? I told him everything that transpired and he said, my black Pitt bull hates all German shepherds , he is racist too and laughs. Continues, don’t let her ruin your day, try to have a better one. I said thanks and headed home.
I continued to take this route with my dog and not seen her, thankfully.
yesterday I am walking and taking the route and met another woman walking her dog. We are walking together and chatting with our dogs being fine and well behaved. Her dog is young, about 8 months old. And we talk a little about leash vs. Unleashed. We both said we keep them leashed because of other dogs in here. I did not tell her the whole story and just said, my dog has been attacked by the same dog twice who was unleashed. Not two minutes later that dog comes around the corner unleashed. He heads back to his owner, I guess she said treats. So I said, that’s the dog, apparently he is friendly but only hates my dog. So we continue and the lady is standing behind a big recycle bin and garbage bin, I go to the far side of the path away from her and her dog and the woman I am with says, is your dog friendly... the woman replies in a rather smug tone”oh yes, veeeerrry friendly”. I continue walking with my dog ignoring her dog and the woman I was walking with Stops to introduce the dogs. Next time I hear is her dog attacking this woman’s dog... the woman said, “I don’t think your dog is friendly”. The woman replies “it’s that white dogs fault”. I said nothing...
unreal. Lol. The woman comes and catches up to me. I told her the entire story, And she said, that woman is crazy. That woman with the attack dog is a lawyer.
so I know I will see her again... not going to avoid this area as it is great.
my dog and I are white supremacists in her books... yet she is the racist one.
critical race theory at work. Blame White people...and white dogs too.
