The guy was jay-walking. On a freeway off ramp of all places.

The cop gave the embarrassed wave to me, and a guilty grin on his face as he fast-walked across the road, as I had to come to an abrupt stop for his stupid ass.

Enforcers of the law are held to a higher standard, so when they stupidly break the law like this, it reflects so much worse upon them than a regular civilian.

You got lucky there. The only time I've had to swerve to avoid a reckless cop, I got a ticket for a made up offense out of it.

I thanked a cop for his service a few years ago, and got sincerely laughed at.

Amerijuanican no, I was young and couldn't afford a lawyer at that point. All he gave me was a bogus running a stop sign ticket, plus a seatbelt violation that was legit but he never would have known about it if he hadn't been driving like a crazy person through that neighborhood in the first place.

Inform BLM that a racist cop wantonly jumped in front of your vehicle, then realized you were white...hence the embarrassed wave/guilty grin thing.
