Every time I go to the chemist these days they ask would you like the generic brand. WTF do I look that poor to you that I can't afford what's written on the script by my doctor??

Same Chemicals, but often not the same formulations or design as space pointed out with Aleve..
There may be slight differences as in coating, shapes, ect.. .. This can effect the medications use, if the patient is not pleased with it.
Osquirrell yeah true. I was actually a pharmacy tech for a couple years in mah younger days so I think about this from a technical point of view....like I wouldn't consider an enteric coated to be the equivalent of a non enteric coated.
But yeah I'm with SpaceMan on that, I do pay extra for brand name enteric coated because they're easier to swallow and easier on the tummy tum. I was thinking more along the lines of meds that are the exact same, just brand name versus generic
Ps: totally tried to tag @orison and wondered why it wasn't working haha
naproxen is the best example i can think of quick....i cant take a regular generic naproxen..it tastes awful and just burns a trail all the way down...then hurts my stomach when it arrives...so i am willing to pay more for aleve....which is the same product but is formulated to go down better and not hurt your stomach
might be the same meds (dont know for sure and dont care) but the coating they add makes it worth the extra few bucks
naproxen Aleve is coated .. usually the generic low mg is pink or orange and about the same chalky as a PEZ candy.. IT melts on contact with saliva.. ya they are nasty.
