If life on Earth was going to end in 72 hours...

If we knew that for a certainty, and it was going to be abrupt, no chance of survival, what would you do, personally?

What do you think most people would do?

Would the momentum of society as we know it cause us to keep doing things that suddenly had no point, like war and economy, or would everything just stop?

It would be total chaos. Most people are afraid of death, blind to the fact this current life we are living in just one "reality" among an infinite number of realities.

so, not being blind to that, it'd be pretty exciting in a way.

i'd probably want to go and walk in a forest.

In the waning minutes, preferably I would dose Ketamine and be oblivious to it all.

Days before, I would like to spend time with family, in my head, I think it would also be great to have sex and do Ecstasy and/or LSD one last time but probably just spend time with family.

I think civilization would disintegrate into chaos, 72 hours is a really brief warning time. Don't know about wars but without repercussions to dissuade them, I think many people would be pretty brutal to each other.

Climb to the top of the highest local mountain for the best view of the final moments of Earth.

I once saw a movie with roughtly this theme, and I totally forgot the title. It was intriguing. One guy was focussing on crossing off all kinds of sex dates of his wishlist. I think one of the last ones was having sex with an adult virgin or something. And that part of the movie focussed about him finding that.. It was really quite weird and surrealistic.
Yes, the society was aware of the impending end and in chaos. Man.... if anyone recall this movie please state the title!

I've been trying to decide whether I would attempt to get to Scotland, purely so I could be on a mountain. Probably not, just because it's the other end of the country and there's too much chance I wouldn't get there. I imagine the roads would be congested.

I'd have to be content with the highest point along the cliffs.

I found out which movie I was talking about btw:

Doesn't look that good going by the trailer, but it was intriguing in regard to this threads theme nevertheless!

It also has Sandra Oh in it, so it can't be that bad :-D

I was pulled in by the trailer and will watch it with a special lady friend or gold fish.

It'll definitely help with some ideas for this upcoming New Year's Eve.

You know, why not? We've all known each other for a while, and it would make sense to check in on friends. That is, if the internet even worked anymore.
