It's just cynicism honestly. There are more liberals in the 20-35 spending money group so larger companies see a financial incentive to appeal to that demographic.

    I like this.

    Thank you.

My friend's little brother, who is a liberal, got angry with me in a discussion and told me that I should listen to the media.

So no, I don't believe they see themselves as anti-establishment.

Because everything that is modern-day 'woke' liberalism is fully embraced by corporations, the major universities, the media/Hollywood, etc.

If you don't support these woke causes, you are basically an intolerant, bigoted Nazi.

And I agree that modern-day liberals are not the same as the hippies of 50+ years ago.

    Corporations love liberalism

Of course I am neither liberal nor conservative. I do not care for labels that exist only to divide, and I do not vote because elections are really selections which the people have no say in.

However, it is quite interesting how all this "woke" bullshit has the complete backing of all the major corporations and governments of the world. Do liberals still really see themselves as anti-establishment?

"Woke" is antithetical to being awake. Woke is just another word for a brainwashed useful idiot of the system who know only how to react emotionally and parrot slogans.

In my opinion, the power brokers of the world have latched on to a segment of the population that is basically mentally ill and dead inside, and they are using those people to basically bring this country down by way 0f cultural Marxism, which is merely a form of subversion on behalf of the ultra rich.
