Ravioli is just tiny little wet sandwiches, change my mind

    Flour, water, around meat.

That's the definition of a sandwich, meat sandwich anyway

Not if they're cheese ravioli, but they're underwhelming regardless.

Less wet flour flavor. The taste you want is almost totally devoured by the pasta. Try blue cheese or pepperoni in them.

But I am not worldly, and do not know what exists.

i think it's different because it's stapled shut.

That just sounds like a technicality

so are those weird PB and J sandwiches that smuckers sells in the frozen section, but I would still count those as sandwiches?

i'm not familiar with those, but until i try one i'm going to have to insist that it's actually ravioli.

They're more like little wet burritos. Since they're sealed shut.

I just did an internet search on this topic and found heated debates about whether pop tarts and "uncrustables" (which I think by description is what you're mentioning here) are types of ravioli.

If the internet decided back in 2018 that poptarts and uncrustables are ravioli, then you're saying that poptarts are a sandwich.

As long as you agree with that, no one needs to change your mind.

and so pizza is an open sandwich.

Apparently Wikipedia loosely classifies uncrustables as a type of dumpling (Have not checked).

But that made me think, yeah, ravioli is more like a type of dumpling than a sandwich.
