    Post-Covid Vacation

After it is said and done, and if you can afford it... Where would you go on a vacation?

    Or an ocean cruise?
mother moon -she's calling me back to her silver womb,
father of creation -takes me from my stolen tomb
seventh-advent unicorn is waiting in the skies,
a symptom of the universe, a love that never dies!

I don't think I have to wait post covid for that, most countries seem accessible. But.. I don't have a priority or fav vacationwise. Open for anything, but also not really in a hurry

Looking more forward to a good concert or music festival

      Prague 2022!

      Maybe

It's a bit of a risk, when you have to have a negative test within 48 hours of the flight home. If you test positive you're on the hook for finding and paying for a place to quarantine in a foreign country.

Cruises are fun, but they're too restrictive. I'd like to explore a place at my own pace, not in the 6 hour window they give me.

Anyway, covid hasn't really stopped me from traveling, at least within the US. I suppose as a post covid celebration, I would have to go somewhere that I couldn't during covid. I'm sure there's some lovely tropical island that would fit the bill.

well post-covid in the sense that it hasn't been allowed until soon, America. in twwoooo weeks!
but i still feel like something could go wrong beCAUSE of Covid and i almost didn't post this in case i jinx it. but then i remembered i don't believe in jinxing. unless it's when someone says the same word at the same time as you and you jinx them and they're not allowed to talk anymore.

How cool would it have been if someone else made this exact same post at the same time?

After it is said and done??

                LOL!!!

14 days to flatten the curve, and yet still no sign of it going away, because it is just going to be variant after variant and booster after booster.

The idea that this will ever be over is laughable and naive to me. Once you give up your rights, you don't get them back. So just get used to wearing that mask and taking a booster every six months.

Who says we need to wait ‘til it’s over to travel? I’ll go as far as I can without a vaccine card.

So this lady I know had to get a covid test to attend an event at a venue recently. Her daughter tested positive but she knew her daughter couldn't be positive because she had actually had covid 6 weeks prior. So they tested again the next day and her daughter tested negative.

I say this to say, if you fail the first test, get a second opinion and then
YOU'RE COMING TO AMERICA (to the tune of Neil Diamond)

Yeah they say you can have positive results up to eight weeks after you have had covid

i don't think i'd have time! my covid test is Monday morning and my flight is Tuesday morning. i was worried doing a test on Saturday would be too much on the edge of the 72 hours, and they don't do them Sunday

Jessica Mally's comment made me feel less apprehensive about a false positive anyways! Maybe it was just because she had covid somewhat recently
