Finally a reasonable place to post this pic. Happened on Friday, but the impact has reshaped my life since then.

I thought it was very normal for oranges to be greenish. They even paint them orange because the average consumer thinks they're only good when really orange :P

Another thing I do with orange peel is grind it up really fine to make orange sauces with it

Granted red #2 is used in cakes and icing and what notand is considered safe for human consumption but I try to avoid food coloring and I don't want it in my fucking orange chicken damnit

i just learned all this too....kind of dissapointed....i read you can tell the dyed ones because the white flesh under the peel will also be orange-orangish

Interestingly enough, the Vikings are to be considered Slavic, especially the Danes where Slavic culture migrated out from the forests or Carpathia to the northern realms of Denmark.
