I don't usually do a tree, but I think I want to do one his year. They're calming.

White lights or die.

Yes, that's what I've always loved about Christmas trees, the calming effect.

The colorful lights do that for me, I love laying under the tree w/my pets during the holidays- before the presents are put under them.

While watching tv and chilling. Feels like being a kid again

It just doesn't feel like Christmas without a tree

My parents always used to put an angel on top which i always hated. Now that I buy my own trees it's topped off with a star.

I like white lights better, now
But the shadows of the tree branches on the ceiling made by coloured lights is one of the most calming effects to me because it reminds me of being a kid.

I like glass baubles.

I like white lights, but I won't say no to colored. ?

But the LEDs aren't as good as the old filament ones, IMO.

I have actual Halloween lights. A string of ghosts and a string of pumpkins :-)

And yeah I think for Christmas trees coloured is what I really prefer. I WANT to prefer white but coloured are my childhood memory and that's what Christmas is based on for almost everyone.

White lights are year round decoration.
