    Getting bombed sucks!

Or some might say bombs blow (as in up), but either way, the nicer of a guy I become with age, the more opposed I am to American planes, or anyone's planes, dropping explosives on areas especially where there are civilians.

The thought of buildings collapsing on homo sapiens with feelings, (including women and children), and the burns and injuries that such explosives can cause , is something that troubles and disturbs me as of late.

Many things are disturbing, but that definitely is one thing this Government has legally done in my lifetime that has affected (God knows how) many lives.

Plus loud obnoxious noises like planes ( that cause houses to shake when they fly low enough), the alarms that must sound, the antiaircraft responses, combined with the explosions, the chaos, the fires being extinguished, the people under rubble or carried off in stretchers or body bags, makes the scenerio of getting bombed seem so "Not Enjoyable" and a total nightmare!

    Have you ever been bombed?

I don't even like loud noises that cause the ears to ring, and hear getting bombed can be so loud your ear drums bleed and can't hear anything at all. It's so loud everything gets silent! That sucks!

I have never been bombed. I hope that is true until the day I die. It is, like you say, horrible. And yes the idea of people with feelings being crushed by rubble is horrific. I am troubled by how few people ARE troubled by it. I know they will say they are if specifically asked to think about it, but in reality as a society we are desensitised to it.

Sometimes, mostly only when I'm falling asleep, if there is a sudden noise, I see a flash of white. Always interests me if other people get that.

Somehow I've always equated being "bombed" with being stoned or under the influence. Guess there are very few people alive outside Syria and Afghanistan who can say they have been bombed by bombers and fighter jets..

So, you think it is actually a good thing that I'm pondering such things? Signs of a compassionate person with a moral compass?

You're right. That was terribly worded on my part.
