if that is what happened, i remember seeing a preview for a movie a couple years ago with a similar premise. i think it was basically an anniversary couple or something, and the guy handcuffed the woman to the bed, then he had a heart attack and died on her. seriously, how fucked up would that be? i never saw the movie, but it's a really interesting premise.
