  • Are toxic thoughts, words, and deeds ever helpful?

I tend to focus on what's wrong with the world, social media, religion, politics, society, and everything.

Speaking up against the changes you want to see in the world and injustices and double-standards takes it's toll on a person because to focus on such things alone produces a release of toxic chemicals into the blood stream.

So, it is best for a person's health to focus on that which puts them at peace and gives joy.

But I don't want to be burying my head in the dirt either.

    What's your advice?

I think moderation is key, and learning how to speak against the errors in our world without turning it into an unhealthy fixation where I'm drinking poison or giving self unnecessary worthless stress, energy, misery, depression, anger, or fear.

    Peace!

I think by definition toxic anything is not helpful. Constructive criticism is essential though.
