    Pronouns

I've seen this bantered around for a while now and all I get is that it confuses people on both sides of the issue. However, it creates a new path for feeling aggrieved which can then be propelled into a raised-voice reason to "educate" the ignorant, sexist, transphobic, cis-whatever who dared to be confused. I think that aspect of it needs to be agreed to immediately, a cease fire sort of arrangement where hostility and violence have no legitimate place.

That said, I wish to list my pronouns: He, Drill, ATM, Slave. This describes me perfectly.

I'll try to call anybody by whatever pronoun they like, but it's nothing to get in a huffy about.

The ones with custom pronouns are the ones who get huffy if you use the wrong one.

That’s my experience with these folks.

Just you don't refer to me as an auger. I'm a drill damnit.

Do you really have experience with these folks? I assumed they were just one of those things made up by conservative tv to scare us.

I worked with one of those at an old job. Her name was Jack but she went by they/them pronouns. Jack had short hair and dressed in masculine clothing. One day I had the supervisor pull me aside and give me a sensitivity talk because Jack didn’t like when I used she/her pronouns.

          I was like .

Jack had a pretty face and a hot body, and would’ve been a total babe if she didn’t pretend to be gender neutral.

So it sounds like someone asked you to respect them, you chose not to, and then were asked by your supervisor to respect your coworker. What is the problem here? Were you fired or something?

No I didn’t get fired just a lite lecturing. Nobody told me this person had specified pronouns. Nobody would’ve known unless they saw the note in her cubicle.

This is pretty much the view of every trans person I've ever talked to.

My friend worked with one insisting on pronouns. Clients came in and didn’t know how to refer to the person. The staff was told they must correct and give sensitivity training to clients. Pointing and saying that one was helping me, was an issue for it. Daly people were brought into the bosses office because this person filed a complaint on several people daily.

it is not natural to the English language,

now you have the Webster dictionary changing definitions by the day as well.

not sure if anyone saw this or knows about it, but since the Amy coney barret nominations and questions the other day about her use of sexual preference, Webster changed the definition of preference the next day.

                - "Can I call you a cab?"

                - "Sure, and I call you a cocksucker!"

I wish Blair White would have addressed Candice Owens as a monkey since she kept being ignorant to Blair..
It was completely uncalled for but she's a right-wing racist anyway.
She thinks her shit doesn't stink and she thinks she is all for the black community..
                  All talk and no walk

That monkey is just on the Trump train for the cash..
                  Is monkey ? a pronoun?

I lose respect for people who put pronouns in their LinkedIn profile headers.
