  • Clockless World or death

Would you rather live a full lifespan without the invention of a clock ( or alarm), or be dead?

I know that is how people lived for thousands of years, but there's no way you could hold a 9:00 to 5:00 job like that.

Pretty sure I'd rather be dead than live in a clockless world.

(Anyway, These are in most structures throughout the world of the dead:

Umm, clocks are convenient but definitely not life and death for me.

Yeah, but how would you make a living if you can't tell time? That would really be challenging.

Well, not all jobs are strictly by the clock for one thing. I'm sure people would adjust somehow, humans are good at that.

Clockless World. I doubt the internet would be possible but as you said, people lived thousands of years without them and every other species on the planet makes due without using them.

Well, however much I love doing menial labor to service a bunch of schmucks, I'll take life.

                Eye hate clocks.
mother moon -she's calling me back to her silver womb,
father of creation -takes me from my stolen tomb
seventh-advent unicorn is waiting in the skies,
a symptom of the universe, a love that never dies!
                🧙‍♂️

What would we do without clocks, though. We might be late for work. And Lord knows Bessie needs another cheeseburger.

A world without a clock sounds ideal. No longer would we be mindless slaves to something as arbitrary as the time of day. Eat when we're hungry, sleep when we're tired, work when we're feeling productive... i think it would be an amazing way to live

I'd never be disciplined being tardy for work.
