The lego thread

Just wondering if you all loved playing with lego with your kids or grandkids?

My nieces and nephews love it.

I used to love it and play with it a lot more when i lived at my parents place.

I use to love playing legos as a kid. Cool stuff. Haven't played in many years. My niece is still too young. Maybe when she gets older she'll find it fun.

My youngest nephew loves it.
So we aim to get him more of it because it gives him something fun to do whilst his parents are cooking dinner.

i still have mine ...could probably fill two or three 5 gallon buckets with them...i saved them for my nieces and nephews and they loved them ..now they are being kept for the grand-nieces and grand-nephews

Was impressed with my older nephew at how he constructed a train station for his trainset.

What was funnier was their dogs who wanted to either play fetch or try to wreck the train track and the lego station.

Their dogs are golden cockiliear spaniels.
Very old now and dont' really play too much anymore.

i once put the idea forth to men i was speaking to on OkCupid that building something out of lego together would make a good first date. Did not get any first dates out of that suggestion. Men pretend to not be grown up but they are really.

right! something to focus on to avoid awkwardness aside from food and eating. see how the other person's mind works in what they want to build, and how they do it. it's the perfect activity for the occasion.
