  • Are you proud?

In the end we fall apart , die, and decay. There isn't really much to be proud of. Death could visit us tomorrow.

Best to have a love affair with sickness, affliction, the cross, and death. Give your cross a name and make her your mistress. I must carry my cross daily and die with her.

Death, I love you❤. May my love for you and the cross grow and grow.

      proud
      [praʊd]
      ADJECTIVE
      1. feeling deep pleasure or satisfaction as a result of one's own achievements, qualities, or possessions or those of someone with whom one is closely associated.
"a proud grandma of three boys" ·
        [more]
        synonyms:
        pleased (with) · glad (about/at) · happy (about/at/with) ·
        [more]
      2. having or showing a high or excessively high opinion of oneself or one's importance.
"he was a proud, arrogant man"
        synonyms:
        haughty · conceited · hubristic · self-important · opinionated · egotistic ·
        [more]

I feel the first definition, yes : )
The fact that it is all fleeting is irrelevant.

I would say you have healthy pride then.

I was speaking of this definition:

having or showing a high or excessively high opinion of oneself or one's importance.
"he was a proud, arrogant man"
        synonyms:
        haughty · conceited · hubristic · self-important · opinionated · egotistic ·

The innocence of youth. No one yells louder, or fears death less than the young.

It's easy to love something you're so far away from.

I've been knocked out on the pavement with fractured skull, broken bones, and torn meniscuses.

I think I know what near death experience is. I could die tomorrow. I live in the ghetto of the Twin Cities where George Floyd was murdered. We had tanks driving down University. Also I have been hospitalized for a drug overdose where I stopped breathing and would have died had I not been put on oxygen.

That's how foolish your thinking is, you cheated death so your not afraid.
and how do we know you're telling the truth.

Would you like me to sign a release of information to talk with my caseworker about my medical records?

Then call bullshit. Or you can call radius health in Minneapolis and ask to speak to Hannah Nelson on the radius health Forensic ACT team.

Tell her Matthew Louis Janes would like to sign a release of information so he can talk to you about the injuries he sustained on May 23rd 2017.

Quit being lazy and calling bullshit when I can so easily prove you wrong!

It's not lazy, it's just kinda fun to irritate you while I'm waiting for parts to dry.
because like I said who knows what you say is real.

Some people can't help being proud. For instance, people from Muskogee.
