Interlacken, Switzerland, An American tourist goes tandem hang gliding with an expert guide pilot. Upon takeoff, he is not strapped in, and dangles for his life

This blows my mind... because this is the EXACT same town and hang gliding company I hired when I did the tandem hang glide tour of the Swiss Alps. Back when I traveled on my own across Europe a decade ago.

That 2nd hand hang glider... Yeah I had to pass on it. When I looked at it for a 2nd time, I saw a few rusty parts and some upholstery issues. Not to mention the closest hang gliding school to me is 250 miles (400km) away
