    Tradwife appreciation thead

Homemakers are often unappreciated for the hard work they do in the home; raising the children and keeping her husband happy and healthy as he goes to work to bring home the bread. A good mother and wife will always put her children and husband's needs before a wage earning career. She is a true rebel of the modern era in a post-feminist society where women are pressured to put career before romance and child rearing.

Tradwives are the best! A man who can provide for his wife and children without her going to work for necessary income is a lucky man indeed.

Most real life examples that come to mind here are actually their husbands themselves who under appreciate it. I'm sure you wanna blame progressive society or feminists as usual though :P

Especially when men think that's the only way for a man to experience some self worth. Poor guy

My wife worked probably the first 10 years we were married then she came home one day and said I think I’ll take a year off.
almost 20 years later she went back to work 1 day a week.
      I did love having a housewife ?

Studies show that women are statistically happier as housewives than they are as career women.

Oh to be a househusband. That would be the dream job, especially since the kids are grown and mostly gone.

Like I value the opinions of women. You're just plain old sexist.

You don’t value any woman’s opinion, but I’m the sexist. Lol. Do you even listen to your own thoughts?

                    I don't have any thoughts: I'm a man.

What are you, neurotic? Want me to get you a vibrator for your hysteria?

neonspectraltoast I think 6-eyeds assertion there is arguable anyways. I see plenty of women question his stuff because it indeed seems sexist.

well none have actually voiced an opinion, so i'm not sure how you can say for sure one way or the other here.

I can predict the future. Any woman on here who will post a disagreement is likely a troll, or feels sorry for Neon

I was just kidding when I said "sexist." Was just saying the thing to say, possibly the thing you were looking for someone to say.

My opinion is that women can't forfeit their obligations any more than a man can. If you've got something to offer, you do it.

Truthfully, I'd like to be a house husband.

Beats working at an office, and if I could support a woman who actually wants a career (nothing wrong at first instance with either: wanting to work, or wanting to be a housewife, or a combi, of course. It depends on the details if something is a bad choice for certain parents), I am happy to and even feel honoured in a way And certainly would not feel affected in my manliness
