    Drug Arrests

I swear it seems like every single person arrested for drugs and/or burglary around here has the same stupid neck tattoo. Is it the same everywhere?

A Hickory man was arrested Saturday after deputies said drugs and stolen items were found at his home.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office was alerted to a burglary at a business in the Tri-City area Saturday morning. Deputies said they've received multiple reports of thefts from the business in recent history. After reviewing surveillance footage, authorities said they were able to identify the suspect as Christopher Wiley.

Deputies went to Wiley's home, where they reportedly found stolen items in the yard and in his vehicle. While being interviewed, deputies said Wiley confessed to taking items from the business. A search warrant was obtained, and more stolen items were allegedly found in the home along meth, marijuana, and a handgun. Wiley is a convicted felon and is prohibited from owning a firearm.

Wiley was arrested and charged with burglary, criminal mischief, possession of meth and marijuana, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and other drug and theft related charges. He was taken to the Graves County jail.

I'm not sure about the neck tatoo, but he does remind me of a rather standard face in like alt rock. Probably also because of the hair due/facial hair. Fred Durst perhaps? I think I'm thinking of another vocalist..

A felon with a handgun! He's going to be gone for a while. Smart of him to remain stoic instead of giving the tough-guy pose so many choose (oblivious to the idea that it's the first impression they give to the arraignment judge).

Once you get an F on your record America never forgives and will use that fact for every legal decision in your life, as an enhancement (costing you more money). When you have an F in America, you have become one of "the usual suspects" if you're dumb enough to stay in the same city where you were convicted.

Leaving a trail of evidence makes it seem like he was pretty wiped out when he performed the burglary and as he drove home (I wonder if he hit a drive-through). So in the course of an evening he's transformed his life for 5 or more years on the short end. The county where I live has a mandatory life sentence for armed robbery. It's a basic appeal generator, but imagine doing life, in a county lockup.

Aside from the gun, I feel for the guy. Back when I was a crackhead I stole all kinds of shit, even a few lawn mowers and a garden statue of Mary. But mostly VCRs and other shit that was easy to swap. Any traffic stop could have had me in for my second F. It's been nearly 40 years since I got my first and only F, and it still keeps me out of defense contracting. I've lied about it since I finished probation (I was on the kind where your employer knows your PO). My second employer used it as an excuse to pay me $17K instead of the $21K we had agreed to before I moved across the state to work for them (I was trapped tight).

I used to plan the demise of some of the worst offenders in my employment and legal life. I actually looked into one of them 20 years after he fucked my out of $750 which drove me into homelessness. He was in a wheelchair, so I saw no point in beating the dollars out of him. I think I grew up a little because I quit stalking the others, what was the point? Still, I have one in particular I may visit after TSHTF, because he'd be worth the long trek to Memphis on foot!

I've heard you can get a felony conviction for getting into a bar fight. Like, somebody tries to pick a fight with you, and you punch them out, you could get a felony conviction.

I never knew that until I heard a story about a guy that happened to.

I've heard that you get an automatic felony conviction added to your record the instant the tattoo gun touches your neck.

I looked into this. The law may vary by state, but I think you won't get an F unless you've got a criminal record, or you really fuck somebody up.

              White Powder! White Powder!

Fifty bricks of South American cocaine wrapped in Nazi symbols destined for Belgium were intercepted by law enforcement in Peru, authorities said.
