I'll admit that while my headlines are fabricated they do accurately describe current events in the United States. If these events happening in another country that was what the headlines here would read like.

The protests in Portland etc would be "Police fire teargas into crowds of anti government protestors armed with bricks and bottles".

The detention centers that are still in operation would be "Immigrants indefinitely detained at border in unsanitary conditions while denied due process".

The foiled plot to kidnap and execute Gretchen Witmer would be "Right wing terrorists plot to kidnap and execute elected official".

Trumps latest bullshit would be "Leader calls for investigation into political opponents while questioning integrity of elections".

Generally speaking I try not to be an alarmist but this is genuinely scary. This is the type of shit that we say only goes on in other countries.

Being afraid of "Communists and Socialists destroying society" is a right wing talking point. That is a direct quote from one of the attempted kidnappers. One that you have made yourself repeatedly. That I found in 7 different articles on the subject. I'm guessing that you haven't read anything about it. You don't know where their rhetoric came from. It came from the Boogaloo Movement which is very Right Wing. I saw where it came from and tried to point it out to you and you called me a liar. I never said that they were Trump Supporters.

Not all Black Lives Matter supporters are left wing. When you look at the number of supporters and groups that support them there is no straight left or right affiliation of their supporters.
