Here's the text of the order and the actual order.

"Based on my determination of an emergency set forth above, I hereby order:
A. From February 14, to February 19, 2021, in the event that ERCOT determines that
generation from the Specified Resources is necessary to meet the electricity demand that
ERCOT anticipates in Texas during this event, I direct ERCOT to dispatch such unit or
units and to order their operation only as needed to maintain the reliability of the power
grid in the ERCOT region when the demand on the ERCOT system exceeds expected
energy and reserve requirements."

No. I think that's utter paranoia. Trump was America at its worst, most self-indulgent.

But America actually is a bastion of goodness and hope for the world.

We're exercising great patience with China, and that is all. None of us wants to be China. Not even Biden. We're born and raised in the USA, otherwise known as the greatest nation on Earth, for a reason.
