This affects a stretch of levee in the Rio Grande Valley which was breached during the Trump administration to make way for border wall construction. When construction was halted, communities around the levee were left vulnerable to flooding and therefore the levee must be repaired. This is the only section which has been approved for construction to resume, and isn't part of the wall at all but is a pre-existing levee. Construction on the actual wall has not resumed.

After years of saying big government throwing money at the issue is bad, the Trump administration is allowing the wall to continue, sometimes on private land, always paid for by the government.

Trump promised that the wall would actually grow... and Mexico would pay for it. He promised better infrastructure and a dismantling of Obamacare. Looks like he’s betrayed you.
