As i understand people were welding in a firework warehouse (uhm yeah... sounds real smart) which went wrong and started a fire that ignited both the fireworks and the nearby stored amonium nitrate.Originally posted by tumbling.dice View PostComment

The bomb used in the Oklahoma city bombing was apparently 2 tonnes of ammonium nitrate, and it did a significant amount of damage. This explosion was 2,700 tonnes, or 1,300X more.Comment
