"Nineteen people have died and almost 200 were injured when a tanker carrying liquefied gas exploded on a road in China.

Images from the scene show extensive damage to buildings including rows of shops with their facades blow out.

The truck was travelling through Zheijiang province in south east China on Saturday when the incident happened. About 4.45pm the vehicle exploded on a highway close to the city of Wenling."

Yes, I did. I read the material and Co vid was not mentioned. I realize it's tongue in cheek humor, but sites are getting shut down over the slightest Co vid "misinformation". I did this because we have a lot of "guests" spidering the site. It's only a matter of time before someone complains.

I don't like it, but we're facing something similar to the communist blacklisting Americans faced in the 40s and 50s. Any excuse is being used. So jokes about the disease are really not so cool.

Neither do I. It's a long shot on its own.

I wonder how many complaints have to be made before there's a problem? And I bet we all know someone who knows the answer to that.

So while I don't think it will happen as a random event, it doesn't have to be. It could easily be a vindictive act if someone who has a few friends decide they finally found the "proof" they need to basically get the whole site shut down.

For most new sites a direct situation like this would be unlikely. I doubt an online bagel dealer would have a team of assholes go after them. Unless they refused to make a gay wedding bagel maybe. But otherwise a normal business rarely starts with an enemies list right off the bat.

But that IS our reality. And a LOT of us have been literally poaching members in a systematic manner. This is why the "Who should we invite" thread needs to go away entirely.

We have a substantial paper trail that is fairly easy to be rid of.

Unfortunately, any guest can read/copy all of it.
