I used to be a Tumblr fan, and stopped being active maybe 6 months to a year before they banned sexual content. That was a terrible decision for Tumblr though-it was a kiss of death for their business. Shame, really.

yeah i don't get this one either. i also haven't actually looked into it, but on the surface it seems like pornhub announcing that they're not allowing porn anymore. so, what exactly is the point of your existence now, onlyfans?

My understanding is that Onlyfans was having a hard time finding investors because of the nature of their content. Also, they were having trouble controlling the child porn and getting accused of not doing enough. There are also limitations on businesses that facilitate sex work that don’t exist for other businesses. Their answer to this obstacle was to ban explicit content altogether. we’ll see how that goes…
