Gun smith shot by cops in his shop

So apparently this 70 year old gun smith was shot and killed during a raid in his work shop.. No search warrant was found and the cops arrived with an ambulance. Port Dover, Ontario. Killed in his place of business.

gun smiths in Canada are a no no Now, I guess. Must crack down on this! His clients included police officers in his home town, military, competition shooters...

He was a licensed gun smith for 40 years with a squeaky clean record, drove 150km from Toronto with their own ambulance!

Yeah this story is highly fucked actually. There was no reason to come by during working hours, when a gunsmith would be in his shop with.. guns. They could easily have rolled by at night and met him in his house where he would be far less likely to be holding a gun, if they were worried.

Plus it's fucking odd that he was good friends with local OPP who weren't at all notified about what was going on, but rather TPS that came to arrest him? Not sure what happened, but something is indeed rotten with this shooting.
