What's peculiar is the path for the one due to hit the gulf coast in about 3 hours. It's going to go north then make a right and go east, to the Atlantic coast. It's being redirected by a cold front that forms a highway for the storm to travel through while picking up cooler air. When it hits the Atlantic, likely to be much warmer, it's going to soak up water like a sponge and become huge again.
