It's relevant to it though, Dice. It shows what happens if someone acts quickly. The criticism aimed at police at Robb Elementary proves that they would do well to learn from this one.

I definitely agree that the police response wasn't very strong. I haven't heard the latest excuse on that one. I guess my position is that the Uvalde situation should never have gotten that far to begin with. What would have prevented that dude, and psychopaths in general, from obtaining firearms legally? That's the question I keep asking myself.

So cops can’t go into a school and just storm in. Children could be hurt. they must figure out where he is and even still.... he went into a grade 4 class ... killed the teacher and started shooting the kids. They could not have prevented this unless the teacher perhaps could bring a gun in and shoot him. Or each class has a cop, or a few cops in each school.

so law abiding citizens should have guns should such a situation arise, if you tak3 away the guns from people, who is left having guns? Criminals and cops, and you are left defenseless

Criminals won't have them. That's the point of removing them. If a teacher has a gun, parents will be scared to let their child into that class room - and rightly so. It's called being ruled by the gun. That's not freedom, never has been and never will be.
