Here's an hour long interview with the man who turned in the laptop/hard drive:
There are so many holes in his story that it is impossible to believe.
He sat on it for a year, he couldn't tell who dropped off the laptop, he fluctuates between the FBI coming to him and him going to the FBI, finally he contacts Giulliani's lawyer. Then the FBI needed help accessing the hard drive! Are you fucking kidding me!? An organization that deals with encrypted data on a regular basis needs an outside computer repairman to help access a hard drive!? Fucking really!? And the person who dropped off the laptop isn't on camera. You'd think the dude would want to cover his tracks. There's hundreds of thousands of emails there just copying from a data transfer and he stumbles on the needle in the haystack. Fucking really!? "Why not pay his $85 bill and pick up the laptop?" Good question. If there was something incriminating on the laptop why not have daddy's friends pull some strings to get it fixed and save some aggravation? "I'm worried about saying more things and getting myself into more trouble". Maybe because he is lying. "Nothing ever happens to people who don't talk". If they thought he was in any real danger he would have some type of protection detail. He is talking to the press freely and saying that there is some type of FBI coverup. That's fucking stupid. I'm giving a running commentary. Now he can't even say what offices the agents he spoke to came from. This is a fucking farce. Now he's saying the FBI called him to ask what kind of cable to buy. Fucking really!? They can't even figure that out? Are they that fucking incompetent? There's only about 4 fucking kinds of cables to use simple troubleshooting gets it done in about 10 minutes max. Seriously go get the cable to your fucking iPhone charger. Now he's saying he gave the laptop and hard drive to Guilliannis lawyer. Who the fuck did he give it to the FBI or Guilianni? He's afraid of getting offed but he's talking to the press. He claims that he gave a backup to someone but it has been destroyed? Come on!
This is common sense shit. It didn't get taken down because there's a coverup. It's getting taken down because it's bullshit.

Social media tried to bury this story, but it’s now all over the news. By suppressing the story, they amplified it. Their plan backfired.
Hopefully now this is the beginning of the end for big tech.

Now if you read those accounts of the press meeting that I linked which pretty much gave the highlights then listen to the actual tape it gives a more complete picture. All of which have their slants but the raw material is available.
The guys story doesn't make sense, lacks serious credibility, and is biased as hell.
