I stand corrected.

If Giuliani can be fed drinks and lured into a room full hidden mikes an cameras by an actress pretending to be an interviewer what's to say that he can't be fed drinks and lured into a room full of hidden mikes and cameras by a GRU agent pretending to be an interviewer.

I think Giuliani getting duped like that is a bigger story. Even at that the hands in the pants aspect is what is getting focused on not the situation that he was put in.

Using advertising slogans like "Where is Hunter?" Really just makes you look stupid, the same thing with the hashtags. Common Sense shatters the whole Hunter Biden laptop story. I'm sure that the crack pictures are real he's been honest about his drug problems. The quoted emails could either be fake or the quotes taken out of context. The whole thing about "They get most of my money" is common if someone has a bad drug problem that someone else get most of the money and gives the person with the problem an allowance as they see fit. Why a California resident who works for an international organization with family working in the government taking laptops to someone in Delaware to get fixed when they have access to better techs also doesn't make sense. Especially if that laptop has potentially sensitive information on it.

You use read shitty news sources and lap it up. The more lurid the better.

You're playing into it by looking at the wrong thing. Let's play a little game:

Rudy is in the exact same situation. He is interviewed by a reporter who is giving him drinks. They go up to her room for a little hanky panky. The room is filled with hidden cameras and microphones. He's a little drunk so his tongue is loose. Maybe they're making pillow talk. Rudy is talking about whatever shit he has coming up on his schedule, the alleged reporter is asking him leading questions to get information. Let's say she isn't really a reporter she's an operative. Now he's giving important details regarding national security.

This is a highly realistic alternate scenario. This is the type of thing that is commonly used in intelligence gathering.

Instead of doing the right wing thing and looking at this from a morals standpoint. Which I'm not. As long as it's 2 consenting adults I really don't give a fuck.

Look at it from the perspective of the fact that he was lured into a room full of hidden cameras to get a prank pulled on him by an actress vs being lured into a room full of hidden cameras to get information from a foreign intelligence agent. Loosening ones tongue is more effective than compramat.

While you are defending the situation by saying it's grown adults and a lot of nothing you aren't looking at the bigger picture. The bright shiny object strikes again.

This is where the left is failing. By focusing on Rudy with his hands down his pants rather than the fact that instead of an actress who isn't trained in information gathering it could've just as easily been a foreign agent who is trained in it. Sasha Baron Cohen isn't nearly as slick as the GRU.

You're right that this isn't gathering embarrassing compromising footage on Rudy Giuliani engaging in sexual impropriety. It is showing how easily that Rudy can be manipulated into inadvertently giving up sensitive information.

That's my point.

First off you accused the left of using "National Enquirer" tactics yet the Biden Laptop story came from The New York Post which is a step below the National Enquirer.

Second off. What is so awful is the fact that even though it was probably poorly done in this movie KGB, Mossad, etc are notorious for doing the same shit. This time it was only an actress.
