Ratting out family to the cops should be reserved for things like discovering your grandmother is a bank robber, or your Dad is a child abuser. Using the cops AND the mob to "get even" with your Mom over politics is way over the top. Such an event could destroy a family. All because of someone's bruised ego? Or worse, because they don't agree on a matter that's not even part of the household. It's incredible when you step back from it.
